Treadmill Test (TMT)

Assesses the heart’s response to physical stress and detects possible coronary artery disease.

What is a Treadmill Test (TMT)?

A Treadmill Test (TMT) — also called an Exercise Stress Test — is a heart test that checks how well your heart works when it’s pumping harder during physical activity.

How it works:

  • You walk (and later jog) on a treadmill while your ECG, heart rate, and blood pressure are continuously monitored.
  • The treadmill’s speed and incline are increased in stages to make your heart work harder.
  • Doctors watch for any changes in ECG patterns or symptoms that may indicate reduced blood flow to the heart.
  • Continuous ECG & BP Monitoring
  • Exercise-induced response check
